Let’s Move!! Music and Movement Classes 0-5 years old
(Click one of the above classes to read more information) Music classes for the young child using MusikGarten curriculum, a fantastic sequential music and development program designed to awaken and develop your child’s inborn joy and talent for making music. Students are grouped according to age. Let’s Play!! Discovering Music Together 6-10 years oldStudents experience music as they learn to play all types of pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments from around the world. Using Kodaly and Orff methods, students actively participate in making music together. Let’s Sing!! Group Singing 9-13 years old Students have the opportunity to discover their natural singing voice as they learn to sing using correct singing techniques including proper breath management, posture and diction. Singing in a choir is a great way to develop not only musical competence, but also the art of singing in a choral ensemble. YaGe Chamber Singers 14 years old and upYaGe Chamber Singers is made up of 14+ old students who not only love to sing, but also love to sing in a choral ensemble. Students will focus on correct vocal production, breath management, diction, intonation, choral blend and sight singing skills. Repertoire will include all types of music, from classical to contemporary. Depending on the level and experience of those attending, local performances will be arranged. Ladies Sing!! All Ages Would you like to improve your singing voice? Many people pass through life wishing that they had been given the opportunity to learn how to sing. If you didn't study formally as a child, it is NEVER to late to learn. Join with other women who share this same desire to sing together and have fun!! Through the study of fun and interesting songs, you will learn to: develop a healthy approach to singing through the study of proper breathing techniques and vocal production, improve music literacy and listening skills, have fun and discover your beautiful singing voice!!
